The management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM), postgraduate school, has approved the amended postgraduate academic calendar for the first semester 2017/2018 academic session.

- Monday, 29th October – Friday, 2nd November, 2018 – Resumption/clearance/signing of undertaking; Registration/ Lectures continue for Fresh PG students (2weeks)
- Monday, 5th – Friday, 30th November, 2018 –Lectures continue for Fresh Students; Residual lectures/1st Semester Examinations continue for returning PG students (4weeks)
- Monday, 3rd – Friday, 7th December, 2018 –Revision for Fresh PG Students; (1week)
- Monday, 10th – Friday, 14th December, 2018 – 1stSemester Examinations for fresh PG Students (1week)
- Monday, 17th – Monday, 31st December, 2018 –1st Semester Break for PG Students
All Postgraduate Students are to report to Postgraduate School for clearance and signing of undertaking
